  I neede a place to sleep on the road, and it accomplished that. This is not a vacation spot. I stayed there in the past and it was not great. They now redid the whole place very nicely with new furniture and clean bathrooms. It is a functional place.

  I stayed here a few days due to business. This place is a dump and has no right to even call itself an EconoLodge. I was quote one price over the phone by the front desk staff, and it was higher on check-in. Front desk was rude and indifferent. The room and bathroom were filthy, there was drug paraphernalia in the bedside stand drawer, I asked for the room to be serviced and it wasn't, bath towels were a little bigger than hand towels and smelled bad, etc, etc.... The list could easily go on and on. I am extremely dissatisfied in all aspects of this property, and would not recommend this property to anyone.

  We were looking for a deal, and I'm not gonna lie when we drove up we were a little concerned! But once we got inside we were pleasently surprised! The room was cleaner then most, even better then some of the more expensive hotels we'd stayed in. The bed was super comfortable, it was quite, and it was just what we needed!
  As a picky experienced traveler, i would reccomend it to anyone looking for a great room at a great price!

  we were so pleased with our recent stay at the econo lodge in schencetady,ny. the rooms had recently been refurbished. the new bathroom was sparkling clean & fairly roomy. the pillows & beds were extremely comfortable. the motel is centrally located in the downtown area & the expressways were nearby & easy to access. the staff was extremely helpful & courteous. we had 2 rooms for 4 nights & thought it was an excellent value. the downtown area itself is in state of transition, older buildings are being converted to new housing & shopping options.

  The room had centerpeeds in the bed, hairs in the bed, spiders on the towels,slug on the shower curtin, sink and toilet leaked, cigarette burns on the bedding. It was disgusting, knocking on my door thru the night. Never stayed the second night I paid for. Can't get satisfaction from anyone.
